I have always believed that the earth provides us with what we need at the right time. After building my own practice in Chicago I decided to complete my 200 Hour teacher training at Core Power Yoga. Yoga teaches me how to breathe through the difficult times, how to listen to my body, yoga reminds me to surrender, forgive, and encourages me to accept change. Yoga transformed my life and constantly reminds me to be kind to myself, but most importantly to be bold and brave. Yoga is the reason Curvy Chick Yoga is no longer a dream, but a reality.
•Lead a 45 minute energetic and interactive kid yoga class for ages six to thirteen.
•Inspire students to find stillness, breathe, and creativity in every asana.
•Develop creative and educational activities relevant to different age groups.
• Lead a 60 minute power yoga and vinyasa flow class for all skill levels
• Provide students with verbal and physical assists which encourage correct posture alignment, maximum asana
benefit, and safety.
• Guide students in meditation while providing different breathing techniques
• Plan mindful, motivated, and purposely class sequences which focus on yoga principals, flexibility,
strengthening of mind and body.
