Andrew E., Artist, Performer, Composer and Educator, has established a following as an outstanding Guitarist and gifted musician. A Bandleader and highly sought after Live Sound Engineer, E. has performed for the PDX Jazz Festival, on countless national and international tours, as well as countless other private events and venues around Portland and the surrounding area. E. has also mixed or had a hand in production at almost every major venue in Portland, Eugene, and Bend. His musical style incorporates everything from various early ethnic folk songs to modern 20th century atonal works, from broadway musicals to driving funk and math rock. His performances highlight his mastery of the guitar and his tasteful facility with the instrument. Andrew is a recent graduate of Portland State University where he received his Bachelors of Music Performance with Emphasis on Jazz Studies. Andrew continues to play around town with various exciting projects and is an in-demand recording artist and engineer. Andrew also teaches at Rose City Music Academy, Catlin Gabel School, Ethos Music Center, Friendly House Music School, Harmony Road Music Center, and Guitarfish Music Studios. Andrew has studied or played with such luminaries in the jazz world as Darrell Grant, Tom Guarna, John Stowell, George Colligan, Dan Balmer, Dan Gildea, Charley Gray, Ezra Weiss, Farnell Newton, Alan Jones, Dave Valdez, Nicole Glover, Chris Johnedis, Jon Huteson, and Jon Lakey.
