About Alessandro T.

Hi, my name is Alessandro. I am a clarinet teacher and musician in the Chicago area. I have a Masters Degree in Music Performance from DePaul University School of Music and I have been teaching lessons since 2015. I can teach students at all levels of ability. As a freelance musician I have performed with the Chicago Clarinet Ensemble, The Chicago Composers Forum, Wheaton Municpal Band and other ensembles. I am also called upon to perform original works by young composers t composer forums.

I think there are two important parts of taking clarinet lessons: learning the fundamentals, and having lots of fun. I focus on basics like embouchure, air, and tone to help you develop good technique. I will also work with you to select music that you like and that you will be excited to play. I look forward to meeting you and working with you!

Great first lesson! Alessandro is very helpful and knowledgeable. I am a total beginner at clarinet playing, and he helps me develop and improve my sound production from the very first start! Looking forward to the next lessons with him.

Very good instructor. He only had a few lessons with our son so far but we can already see a lot of progress has been made. Highly recommended!
