Alanna has traveled the southeast performing with the Redcoat Marching Band from The University of Georgia, was lead alto in the UNCG Jazz Band, and performed with the UNCG Orchestra in Gershwin’s "An American in Paris"- a rare treat for performing saxophonists. In March 2013, Alanna performed with the UNCG Wind Ensemble as they premiered John Mackey's "Frozen Cathedral," which earned a number 1 position on the iTunes Classical charts.

Alanna recently graduated with a degree in Music Performance (Saxophone) from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying with Dr. Steve Stusek. Alanna previously attended the University of Georgia and studied Saxophone Performance with Dr. Kenneth Fischer.

Alanna'€™s love for music does not discriminate, and she has enjoyed many performance opportunities outside of the woodwind family. She has played Euphonium in The University of Georgia Pep Band and has played Guitar with the UNCG Old Time Ensemble.

Alanna maintains her creative spirit by visiting with family and friends, reading, yoga, running, and any other hobby that sounds fascinating and not too expensive.
