· Drum · In studio WE LOVE OUR DRUM INSTRUCTOR! My son was an extremely high energy very distracted five year old when we started lessons with Mr. Al. Let's just say that my son is not an easy student, but our son had already developed an obsessive attachment to music, most intensely to drums. We expected someone would be able to teach him drums, but we also got someone who is patient, flexible, understanding, and always respectful and kind to our son. We see Mr. Al in his home studio, and at now at seven years old, Joey's skill has definitely progressed. In fact, his learning has a momentum that our entire family can see. But Mr. Al has given Joey so much more than just that. Joey's love of music has flourished beyond measure. Joey now tells Mr. Al that he loves him after every lesson, WOW! We have been so pleased that my seventeen year old daughter now also takes lessons with Mr. Al too. Mr. Al is the perfect instructor for us. My kids think he's cool, and we think he's just fantastic all the way around!

· · One of the Best

I have studied with several instructors, and I found Al to be the best. He not only knows his craft and takes pride in it, but he has a unique way of connecting with his students.

He listens, observes, and then starts to create a curriculum that is specific to the student. He can then convey this material in a manner that is fun, easily understood, and constructive.

I would highly recommend Al as an instructor.

· Guitar · MY daughter loves playing!!

I tried to teach my daughter, Rose, how to play the guitar and I couldn't get her to follow through with her lessons. Al has made the guitar fun for her. She'll play AT LEAST an hour a day now, learning songs given to her and playing warm-ups like scales.

Al also teaches music theory so Rose understands music more. Any teacher that gets a student that excited is doing something right.

· Drum · Excellent Instructor!!

Our son has been working with Al for nearly a year and we are very pleased with the growth we have seen in our son’s drumming ability!
Al seeks my son’s input when selecting songs to teach him and encourages my son to apply his knowledge to learn new songs on his own. They go over what he taught himself and then he gives him new beats to incorporate to what he knows. My son truly enjoys learning from a skilled professional like Al. He is an awesome instructor!!!

· Drum · Al is an awesome teacher.

When I was looking for a drumming teacher for my son, I looked at several of the teachers' profiles. I thought that Al's profile was the best fit for my son who had no experience in drumming, and my son has learned so much from Al. Al is a wonderful teacher and very patient. He adjusts to the likes and needs of his students. I like that Al is a professional musician/performer and brings that experience to the table too.

· Guitar · Al is the best teacher

My son started learning the guitar with NO experience at the age of 9. He is now playing the songs he always wanted to learn, is always excited to go to his weekly lesson, and above all has the upmost respect for AL as do I as Anthony's mom. I couldn't think of anyone I would rather my son learn from. Al's extensive knowledge of musical instruments is nothing short of remarkable! I would recommend AL to anyone looking for a teacher in the musical arts.

· Guitar · Great Patience

I was a complete beginer and couldn't read a single note. Al showed great patience form day one when i came in with a broken string. Never once in all of my lessons did he hesitate to repeat, redemonstrate, or write it out. He is your choice if this is what you need in an instructor.
