Hello friend! My name is Adelya. I love my violins - big and small, and I love my students - every one of them. I was once a student myself, and I was fortunate enough to have the teachers that were understanding and supportive as well as the ones that were scary, forceful, and mean. Yes, I said “fortunate” because through those experiences I discovered everything I wanted and didn’t want to become as a teacher and mentor myself. I realized I want to take care and give guidance, and most importantly, I want to be a safe place. I want you to know that it is not your material achievements that matter to me or the end result. It’s the progress, the growth, the joy, and your relationship with your instrument and music that I care about most. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking for a strong professional training, I am your gal. I am a Doctor of Musical Arts, I won seven prestigious national and international competitions, and I performed on stages of such famous venues as Disney Hall in Los Angeles, Big Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, and Carnegie Hall in NYC, among others. I hope this little letter gave you a little glimpse into who I am and what being in my studio feels like. Thank you for your time and trust, I can’t wait to meet you. Love, Adelya

My 13 year old son started taking violin classes with Ms. Adelya about two months ago and both he and I could not be more pleased. This is my son's first introduction to the violin and I am so impressed with his quick progression. Ms. Adelya is very professional, focused, patient and above all kind to my son. Her passion and love for her craft come across in each and every class. Even I as an observer during class have found a total new appreciation for the violin which I never experienced before. Highly recommend Ms. Adelya and her expertise for anyone wishing to play the violin!!

An exceptional teacher who instructed and continues to teach my daughter in basic violin playing. Her patience and dedication helped my daughter progress significantly in a short period. Adelya’s teaching style fosters both skill and passion for music, making each lesson enjoyable and rewarding. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality violin instruction.
