Music Theory with Adam F.

Hi there! My name is Adam. I’m a classically trained percussionist of about 10 years. I do currently consider myself a multi-instrumentalist, however. My instrument experience also includes guitar, bass, and keys. But besides hitting things with sticks, I also know a thing or two about harmony, song structure, and the like. My music theory knowledge spans from common practice era techniques, to more contemporary approaches such as jazz theory. From absolute beginner, to mastery. From orchestral, to rock and roll. From pencil and paper, to Pro Tools 12. The point is this. I want to make whatever your goals are a reality through a system that I KNOW will work. You see, I attribute most of, if not all of my theory knowledge to my musical experiences. Composing for orchestra on paper, learning guitar solos by ear. Reading books only gets you so far. I can tell you that hands-on experience is the BEST method of learning. I want to find what it is you love about music, and custom cater our lesson to a deeper understanding of just why you love it so much. Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and watching a musician or artist spread their wings is a really special thing.
