The health, wellness and beauty industry came calling when Tayelor was a ten-year-old girl. Reading, Essence, Vogue and The New York Times Style section was her favorite past-time then, and, now. Fast-forward, Tayelor's mom was diagnosed with colon cancer, and two days later both Tayelor and her mom went to their first yoga class. That was over fifteen years ago. Since then, Tayelor has become a certified personal trainer, bodypump and spin instructor. In addition, she is also a Ayurveda Food, Breath and Sound Practitioner, as well as a Yoga and Meditation Instructor. Tayelor studied at the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda, which is the school that is owned by the renowned spiritual leader, and Ayurveda Pioneer Maya Tiwari. Early in her career, Tayelor utilized her beauty expertise as a representative for Dr. Perricone working with the Connecticut Teen Pageant Association as a promotional makeup artist on QVC Home Shopping network. Additionally, she served as the key makeup artist for the legendary Pointer Sisters and as well as the iconic rock band Aerosmith.
