Ready to learn crochet, want to brush up on some forgotten skills, or just need help with a project? I have been crocheting since i was 9 years old and teaching all ages for nearly 15 years and would love to get your (yarn) ball rolling! Specializing in pattern reading and writing, troubleshooting, improvisation, and more. No question is too big or too small! I believe that crochet is easier to pick up than knitting, so this is a great place to start for kids or first time yarn crafters and I encourage anyone to learn crochet as well if they want to pick up knitting someday.

I'm a Home Economics teacher with 30 years crochet experience. I have skills and strong foundation in handicrafts and specialize in fundamentals of crochet. I typically use inspirational ideas around me and modify them according to my students' needs. I structure my lessons in a way the students will learn what they want to learn without feeling bored.

I'm available for eager students of all ages and experience levels. I would love to work with you and help you learn to master the basics of this needlework. I will also help you build a crochet portfolio that you can use any time as a quick reference guide (and inspiration as well) so you can comfortably make your very own DIY crochet projects!

I've been teaching Crocheting for 10 years and my students have gone on to make things as small as bracelets to something as unique as jumping rope. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to make a pencil pouch and as time goes on you'll be able to make your own blankets. I specialize in making gift like ornaments to winter apparel, typically use patterns from books and online, and have the 22 different crochet hooks and yarn available for your lessons. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I want you to enjoy crocheting! Let's smile, make jokes, and learn a new hobby together! After your initial lesson you will have a grasp on basic stitches. From there, I will help you develop your crochet skills so you can venture out and begin creating for yourself or for gifts! Nothing beats a hand-made gift!

After each lesson, I will give you a small assignment to work on that will help you develop. I will let you lead the pace. Crocheting is fun and should never be stressful!
