About Rhiannon
My name is Rhiannon and I am a third generation crafter. Originally I went to school for art history, all the while crafting. Eventually I had enough of studying other people's work and instead wanted to make my own and empower others to do the same. I consider myself to be the "Swiss Army Knif

I've been teaching Crocheting for 10 years and my students have gone on to make things as small as bracelets to something as unique as jumping rope. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to make a pencil pouch and as time goes on you'll be able to make your own blankets. I specialize in making gift like ornaments to winter apparel, typically use patterns from books and online, and have the 22 different crochet hooks and yarn available for your lessons. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I looked up online lessons because the quarantine had started and I had purchased a sweater pattern that I really wanted to make, and thought i should be able to accomplish. Many people on Ravelry had complained about the pattern's shortcomings -- some had given up on it, though the people that did complete it, had great results - over 95 people posted pictures of their results, though some aren't quite like the advertised picture. I really wanted to make that sweater though, so I thought it was time to get some real lessons, and found Amy. The way she talked me through the pattern and other patterns, I totally got how to look at patterns and think about them. She lets you know her thought process so you can think it through yourself. Now, when i rip something out to do something over, it's not because i don't know what i'm doing so much as i now know what i'm trying to accomplish. The sweater is almost done and btw, looks just like the picture!! I've realized that it's a great idea to tell Amy whatever i'm thinking and she will give the best advice. Oh, and from the first lesson, she got me getting straight edges easily (now, it makes so much sense but at the time it seemed like a fluke whenever i had a straight edge!)"
