I am very happy with my drawing lessons with Seonjung. She's a good teacher and so kind. I wanted to learn digital art. She is helping me with line art, color, light, and shadowing. I look forward to my lessons.

Seonjung is the most patient, knowledgeable, and kindhearted art teacher that I have ever worked with. It has been an absolute honor and pleasure to learn from her. With Seonjung's help, my fashion sketches have gone from being very unrealistic to extremely realistic. A++ for her

About Ohashi

As an artist and art instructor, I have more than 30 years' experience in New York and Tokyo, Luckily, I had the chance to have a wide range of ages’ students ( from 3 to 90-year-old! ) and that could make me grow very much as an artist. My artwork has been published in art books and magazines

Mr. Ohashi is a wonderful teacher. He is patient, creative, and always considering each individual student's needs and how best to encourage and inspire them. In addition, he is a very talented artist and makes learning fun. You'd be very fortunate to learn from him!
David
Mr. Ohashi's classes have been invaluable. I never considered myself to have any great talent in art, but I did have a great interest that, after some failed attempts and false starts, led me to Mr. Ohashi. I couldn't be happier with the teacher I found. With the benefit of Mr. Ohashi's patience, dedication, and sly sense of humor, I've been able to create work I am truly proud of (and which consistently surprises and impresses family and friends) that I wouldn't have thought possible when I first began with him. He is able to impart the fundamental concepts of painting and art-making while still encouraging me to explore a style that is my own. Seeing proof of my own development and increasing skill under Mr. Ohashi's guidance has been incredibly rewarding. I couldn't recommend him more strongly or thank him enough.

I am so glad that I took this class with Mr. Atsushi. He has a friendly and welcoming attitude. In addition to that, he’s very patient. He gave precise and clear instructions which allowed me to feel competent and ultimately confident in my painting skills. I highly recommend Mr. Atsushi if you are seeking for an excellent art teacher!

I took my first class with Sylvia this week and she is a very good teacher. She helped me learn a new skill on first class by showing me than having me do the same tasks. She is patient, straight forward in her instructions and a clear communicator. I have signed up for 3 more classes because of my first class with her

WATERCOLOR PAINTING LESSONS

Abstract Painting uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Abstract art, non figurative art, nonobjective art, and nonrepresentational art are loosely related terms. They are similar, but perhaps not of identical meaning.

A Complete List of Painting Supplies that every Beginning Watercolor Painter needs

1. Favorite brands Daniel Smith Water-Soluble Oil Paints & Mediums, and Holbein Duo Aqua Water Soluble Oil

2. Proper Painting Brushes
I‘d suggest six total in a range of sizes: two size 2 brushes, two size 6 brushes, and two size 12 brushes. One of each pair should be a flat brush (with a squared-off brush tip) and the other should be a filbert brush (with a slightly rounded tip).

3. Newspaper
4. A charcoal pencil
5. A “palette”
6. Comfortable, messy clothes
7. A painter’s easel
8. Canvas (or other painting surface)
9. Water ...

I love Mayra. She taught me a lot more than I thought in just one class. I have a painting that I will hang on my wall. Never thought one class would do that. She has great personality and great skills.

Mayra was very helpful. She had a challenge with us because we we're weren't sure exactly what we wanted to learn. Mayra worked with us and demonstrated some new techniques and ideas based on where we already were as (very amateur) artists. She was helpful, very encouraging, and easy to work with. Thank you!

"I had the crazy idea of gifting to the girl I like a painting of her favorite flower. She lives in Shanghai and I was flying to over from New York. The problem was that I did not know how to paint. Because I had been so busy with work, I waited until last week before my flight to take lessons. Guiseppe guided me on how to approach my project and how to mix colors.
