Drawing is all about learning to see the world in a new way. After many years of teaching drawing to all skill levels, I have developed a highly efficient way for any student to improve their techniques as a draftsperson rather quickly. Although my focus as a TakeLessons teacher is primarily in music, I also teach a killer Calligraphy class. I do not take the fact that I am 'multi-talented' lightly. I know good calligraphy and I know mediocre calligraphy. Before getting more involved with music, I taught Calligraphy at a junior college for 7 years. I taught over 750 students and took classes from a student of Donald Jackson, one of the Scribes of the Queen of England. I can strengthen the work and techniques of intermediate or advanced calligraphers (and illuminators) and am very adept at teaching beginners. We can meet in my music studio or your home. I have a list of preferred materials and love this amazing communication form.
