I've been teaching English since 2002 and my students have gone on to develop travel abroad, participate in and win different competitions and contests, and build their careers. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to communicate in it in everyday life and as time goes on you'll be able to make new friends and study and work in it. I have been teaching voice/singing for over 8 years. I have been performing and recording as lead singer and songwriter in bands for over 25 years. As a Berklee College of Music alumnus, I studied ear training and solfege as well as jazz and harmony. Many years of choir and musical theater experience in school. No classical or opera experience. Singing is an extension of speech, and actors, broadcasters and voice over artists can all benefit and improve the sound of their speaking voices by learning correct vocal technique. I start with the basics of breathing and support with some vocalizations/basic singing. Then we work by applying the techniques to a variety of texts.

I'm Ahmad a very enthusiastic musician. I started out teaching myself guitar at the age of 12. I moved to the U.S. in 2001 and studied music for 15 years receiving my B.M. and M.M in music and audio production at San Francisco State University. I then moved to Los Angeles then studied and trained with John Mayer, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, George Lynch and many others. I have performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S. as well in Europe and the Middle East with Artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Michael Angelo Batio, Ratt, Sammy Hagar, Dokken and many others. I ranked #1 in the Slash Guitar Center competition. I was in the "list of top 5 guitar players ever" according to The Examiner, also picked as one of the best guitarists of 2013 and 2014 consecutively in the Rockwell UnScene magazine, and ranked 3rd in the Steve Vai Sam Ash Best in Shred competition.

He has a way of simplifying the concepts and providing the needed context to eliminate the "intimidation factor" of learning. Combined that with on-going encouragement, a plan customized to you and consistent positive reinforcement, Ahmad is able to maximize your enthusiasm and motivation for learning...I only wish that I would have started years earlier.
I'm having a blast, thanks to Ahmad!
I recently relocated to Bay Area after happily taking guitar lessons in CT (where I went from absolute beginner to campfire strummer). So the bar was set high for finding a new teacher and, like you, I started reading numerous reviews. Every one of Ahmad's reviews were extremely positive from all levels of students. In addition, his experience (30+ years of teaching) and education (Guitar Institute) were top notch.
So I decided to take a lesson with Ahmad and couldn't be happier right now. From the first lesson Ahmad was able to quickly assess where my level of play was and jump right in. Ahmad focused on teaching good habits and guitar fundamentals, all while improving my timing.
He is very organized, and has thousands of handouts right at his fingertips (so no time is wasted writing down your lesson). He is very encouraging as you tackle new material, and also reads you well to know just the amount of new material that will appropriately challenge you. He will also create as many additional handouts as necessary to bring you to that next level.
And in a little over a year, Ahmad has indeed brought my guitar playing to a new level. His exercises made it fun to learn scales and the guitar fretboard, and I'm now able to identify keys and understand the intervals of a chord. So when improvising to a chord progression, this allows me to make the changes (ie playing the most melodic notes to transition from one chord to the next). Ahmad's teaching has also brought my rhythm and timing to a new level. I'm able to play more advanced rhythms with an even tighter timing. I'm quite pleased whenever I go back to an old song and see how much tighter the rhythm is now. I'm also very pleased how quickly I'm able to learn a new song or riff now (where some would have been too advanced for me only a year ago). His lessons will also improve your picking, ability to move up and down the guitar neck, hitting the desired strings and much more.
In addition, Ahmad if very nice and friendly, so it has been a pleasure to take lessons with him. I'm very excited to see where Ahmad takes my guitar playing as I continue lessons with him, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guitar teacher.
If you want to spend the least amount of money on guitar lessons, I would encourage you to go learn from some college kid, as you will spend $80 on one or two lessons and then just give up. If you want to actually learn how to play guitar, come see Ahmad.

My teaching approach and vocal studio embrace the singer's personal and professional journey.
Many teachers conduct voice lessons using a series of preconstructed warmups and vocalises. This is rigid and ineffective, as each singer's vocal journey is unique. My teaching approach embraces the individual strengths of the singer, catering to their specific pedagogical needs. Every lesson is different. Creativity, playfulness, curiosity, humor, exploration, sensitivity, and respect are held in a safe container during lessons, acting as fundamental collaborative elements of my studio.
I am joyful to have extensive experience collaborating with:
*singers and dancers performing on Broadway and national tours
*contemporary recording artists
*actors in film and television
*voice over and audio book talent
*university and conservatory musical theater and voice majors
*performing arts middle and high school students

Studying is serious business. We will write essays. We will analyze passages. We will laugh in the face of all that is boring about standardized tests.
Ultimately, my paradigm as a teacher will be to make myself progressively unnecessary.
The most important attributes of any teacher are empathy and patience. I currently attend Harvard University and work as a professional writer and tutor. I've lived all over the United States, although I grew up in Scotland of all places. My scores on the SAT and ACT were perfect (1600 and 36 res

The best photography lighting is based on several factors, and depends on what type of look you want when it comes to your photos. And we'll also discuss the benefits of two styles of studio lighting. The natural lighting of a photo will be much softer and a warmer look while using studio lighting gives your photos a more ov …
