Lessons can include things such as learning stitches, going over a pattern that a student wants to make, explaining knitting techniques, working on projects from beginning to end and anywhere in between. I love knitting, enjoying making a huge variety of items using many different techniques. I knit using the English style, having grown up in Cheshire, England, but also knit using the Continental style of knitting too. I have been teaching knitting in groups and on a one to one basis for a few years. My students have ranged in age from 8 years old to 80 years old.
If you need help with a specific project, learning a new technique or just starting out as a beginner knitter, please get in touch.
About Jane
I love hand crafts and was attracted to hand knitted items from an early age. I'm a qualified elementary school teacher, having taught both in London and Boston. I have also worked with high school students and adults in museum education, having a masters in Museum and Gallery Education. I love k
