About Jane H.
I love hand crafts and was attracted to hand knitted items from an early age. I'm a qualified elementary school teacher, having taught both in London and Boston. I have also worked with high school students and adults in museum education, having a masters in Museum and Gallery Education.
I love knitting and enjoy learning new techniques and making lots of different knitted items. This has led me to set up knitting groups and teach on a one to one basis. I have taught beginners through to advanced knitters. I also test knit for knitting designers, as this often introduces me to new techniques and ideas, which enhances my own knitting.

I'm a beginner at knitting and Jane helped me with my first scarf, which I was able to finish in time to gift it to my partner for Christmas. I had turned a simple project into a complicated mess, and Jane showed me how to fix it. What a huge relief! She is so patient and kind, all in all, a great teacher. I highly recommend her!Show More
I really enjoyed knitting with Jane. I was a complete beginner and she was very patient and helpful. As a result of my sessions with her I am much more confident and can now make progress on my own.
Excellent teacher who really helped my grasp knitting.
Jane is clearly very passionate about knitting and teaching and this makes her an excellent instructor.
Strongly recommended to anyone, whatever their knitting skill level.
I'm a complete beginner and Jane made me feel so comfortable and confident. I feel I'm doing really well now and will go back to Jane for more lessons when I need.
