Since this is a dying art, it has been awhile since I've been commercially active, but I have taught classes before and have the supplies. I'd be most willing to share what I know with others who would be interested in keeping this art form alive!

30 Years experience. Areas: Editorial - Magazine, Photojournalism, News - Covers, Features, Lifestyle, Concert, Photo/Digital Illustration. Commercial, VIP, Celebrity, Red Carpet, Real Estate, Event.

I can cover just the photo/camera end for you. And, or, can teach you the digital computer skills you need to bring you images to the next level.

I will teach you how to reveal your own photographic "eye". That is, now to use the camera as an extension of your expression, how to take what you see, and put inside a frame.

I teach photography concepts from the art form, and from basic through advanced technical and aesthetic.

You will learn how a camera lens is much much more than just a zoom closer/farther tool for your scene. The lens you choose is vital towards helping you achieve the vision you are bringing to your work. Camera exposure is similar.

I will also teach you how to "see" your scene or subject as "values" of shades of black, white, and the grays between. This ...

Richard is so patient and knowledgeable. I am very happy with our lessons. Because of my background with classical guitar he wondered if the fact that he doesn't read music and I am renewing my mind back into it would not be a good teaching set-up. Not at all. I now have an electric guitar and the five years spent playing classical, now fifteen years ago, did not give me a good foundation for understanding music theory unfortunately. I have a genre I had already picked out fingerstyle electric and now with some thinking my way through the basics I did have I still need to learn just basic strumming etc. I understand what he is referring to in music so we still speak in the same key. Also and lastly my daughter has a severe seizure/dementia disorder that is very unpredictable and our caregiver's mom just passed away so there will be times when I just can't do a week/day. He has been very understanding. I am smiling from my soul because music is my healing path for difficult stuff I couldn't pay any doctor/therapist to even call me back for. Thank you so much for your assistance. Sincerely Teresa

I've been doing water color painting for years and would love to help you.

For the basics of watercolor you'll learn color theory, how to use paint brushes, techniques etc. The beginner lessons are more organized lessons and structured to go over the basics.

But, the more advanced is where you come to me with what you'd like to paint, and I'll give you techniques and tips on your projects.

"I've been Jessica's art student for more than a year and I'm still fascinated how much I have learned so far. I already make beautiful, colorful drawings on my own, some of which I could even sell! I love her energy and mastery of teaching and doing art, but most of all her passion. I love the experience and I'm planning to keep on growing as artist myself with Jessica's guidance."
