The Recital was fabulous- thanks for all your work.
Goals: Since I am also a Life Coach, we really focus on how to accomplish our hopes and desires. We begin by weekly, then monthly and even a yearly goal.
Each week we also focus on something in my STUDENT PAL - mnemonic. Another is TECHNIQUE. Technique is the ability to have proper position, wrist-lifts and finger curve as well as Theoretic knowledge and application.
I started giving out lickable gold stars, you know, the old-fashioned kind? They are for those students who mark their lesson sheet and come prepared... They really seem to enjoy that, and I adore the nostalgia!
It is a great week when students are nearly all prepared and ready for their lessons. This makes both Coach and student more effective and the time together more enjoyable.

this with both a little excitement and a little concern. Finding the right person for your or your student can be intimidating. A short introduction follows so that you know a little about me and my philosophy which can assist you make an informed decision. If we are a good fit, lessons and learning progress more joyfully.
I have been teaching music, performing music and enjoying music since I was a tiny three-year old. My first piano lessons were at age seven. I have since taught the students of former students! How fun is that?
Music has blessed my life in countless ways and given me opportunities I'd never dreamed of. Teaching at the Young Artists Conservatory of Music; Singing in Carnegie Hall, Performing across Europe and teaching the best students for over 25 years has been a delight.
I believe strongly that those who spend their time and resources for musical education are some of the brightest and most intelligent people around. Each of my students have their own individual goals and reasons for taking music lessons, which we revisit monthly. I believe that my role is to be a support and tool for them/you to accomplish the goals set, working with music that delights and educates.
You want the best teacher, who offers information, example, practice and performance opportunities and then gets out of the way of the student's own "voice" (whether playing or singing) so that they can be free to create their own style.
*** Lesson Details ***
In our lessons, we work with a predictable schedule of balance. We have weekly exercises to make strong fingers and or voices, and technique and theory practice to hone skills that will improve our performances, whether they are for others or for our own benefit. Each student of piano can learn how to create and write their own music in time, choose their own pieces to work on, and have a say in their classical and performance goals.
We have a program of advancement, so you and your loved ones can visually see your progress and measure your skills, complete with awards and trophies.
What you learn, has everything to do with your commitment. Practice doesn't make perfect, Practice makes permanent. Only perfect practice makes perfect.
Learning the piano ought to be a JOY. I believe in playing the piano, not 'practicing' it. Enjoy what you do, and you'll do it longer and with celebration instead of duty.
*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano - upright; CD player; Music stands; Dozens of music books and lesson materials; flash cards; computer and music writing program; mic and mirror, syllabus.
*** Travel Equipment ***
No travel.
*** Specialties ***
Over the years I have dabbled in most methods, but finally come to use my own syllabus and musicianship. I can easily adapt to your favourite if that is your desire. I specialize in a total music education, not merely in learning notes. It is like looking in a mirror and only seeing eyes and skin. Music has many facets and we discover all of them.

About Richard
I can't wait to work with you! I am passionate about the subjects I teach, and find nothing can compare to seeing a student "get it", so they may too enjoy the passion that comes from learning and doing something they love.
Everything I teach I've learned most completely by doing as a Professional, and find great reward in sharing my experience and knowledge with my students.
When the "aha" light goes on, it's truly a wonderful moment for me, and encourages me to drive my students to build towards more of those moments as students, and then ultimately, for themselves as they learn to grow for themselves.

About Jonathan "JC"
Hello! Bonjour!
I believe the best way to teach is to make it simple and fun! I am patient and dedicated to your success.
-------- QUALITY FIRST --------
Everybody wants the best. I believe quality is the most important. I also believe each person is unique, therefore each student should have tailored lessons.
-------- HAPPY TEACHING --------
Teaching should be a positive and fun experience. I believe in a personalized and genuine approach. In my experience the benefits are enormous: we save a lot of time, energy, and since it is way more suited to the student, we are more efficient = happy! Hopefully Wisdom will come out of this process. All we need is a little support to all grow together.
-------- PHOTOGRAPHY --------
Photography has been my full-time job since 2003. I am a 34-year-old French-American man living and working

-------- PHOTOGRAPHY --------
Photography has been my full-time job since 2003. I am a 34-year-old French-American man living and working
in Minneapolis Minnesota. I have +16 years of expertise as a professional photographer. Recent clients include Porsche Minneapolis, Taste of the NFL, Medal of Honor Convention Twin Cities, and Women's Leadership Trust Forum. I will be your teacher today.
-------- WHY THE MOVE TO THE USA? --------
I am a husband and step-father who moved to Minnesota in 2015 to live with the wife Sophia and 2 kids: Blake and Samara, 16 and 14. They all are musicians or artists.
-------- MY FRENCH HERITAGE --------
From 1995 to 2002 I primarily I studied French literature, English literature, and German, and even Russian for 3 years when I was in high school in France.
I was born in France so the language is my mother's tongue. My parents are Monique and Alain, typical French names. I have an older brother (Frédéric) and a younger sister (Johanna) who lives in Québec, Canada now. I do not practice German and Russian at the moment but I am a specialist of French language. If you want to test my French here I am!
-------- LE TEST FRANÇAIS: BIEN, OU QUOI ? --------
Comme on dit en français: "quand on me cherche on me trouve !"
-------- MY PASSION FOR SOCIAL WORK --------
In 2015, before I moved to the USA, I was the President of nonprofit organization Association Sunyoga France, French branch of the main NPO from India called UNIVERSAL PEACE CENTRE, for scientific and spiritual research, agriculture, clothing, taking care of orphans and elderly people, with a health center and an education center.
Our 7 humanitarian programs focus on creating a Self-Dependent and Sustainable Global Family Home University. As we speak, we have people from +14 countries working together towards that goal.
I know the organization well since I have been working with them since 2012 in France, India, Serbia, and now in the USA!
I am now working on creating the American branch of the association. It is called Universal Peace Centre • SUNYOGA AMERICA.
-------- GLORIOUS CONCLUSION ABOUT TEACHING --------
Teaching is a big responsibility. Parents and teachers, it is our duty to teach the best. Let's do our best together. Thank you for your trust and friendship.
Wishing us all best success, peaceful, blissful, healthy, and enlightened life.
Merci! Gratitude.

My passions are teaching, helping people and Architectural Technology. I have wanted to teach new skills to willing students since I was in high school, which is why I have been doing my best to get work which exercises that desire. I moved to new york in 2006 to study Architectural Technology, and before that I studied and graduated from kindergarten to high school in french, which is why I love teaching french. Even though french is my favorite subject I will be equally as happy teaching any other subject on my list.
I have an Associate in Graphic Design and Architectural Technology, I am going to be receiving a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology in June 2015 from CUNY'S NYC College of Technology, so I can continue towards seeking a Master's degree in the same field.
I try to make learning and teaching fun and interest

About Sharron
My resume includes graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts and continued studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art until I decided I didn’t want to be a “Starving Artist”. So, I graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources Management. My education also includes 27 graduate credits that were leading to a Master’s in Public Administration when I decided to discontinue that path. After twenty-five years in the public sector, I decided to revisit my passion for art in my spare time. As a youngster, I remember wanting to teach art in schools, but I did not want the restrictions that are present in the classrooms and more so today. All forms of art is a freeing practice that is practiced and developed over time.

About David Z.
CloseAbout David
Dedicated art professional with 18 years of experience in creating artwork utilizing various medias. In my early years I worked as an outsider artist giving watercolor lessons for Susan Edwards of the artist place called "The Art Attack in Sycamore Illinois. After some years of painting and displaying my work at outdoor art shows and inside some stores i went to Northern Illinois University and obtained my Bachelor of Fine Art in painting. I have joined art leagues and art guilds near where I live. I recommend the Kishwaukee Valley Art League and the Rockford Art guild. There i learned how to reach children and adults on how to get interested in painting. Strong competency in teaching and leading aspiring artists in group or individualized settings. In order to become a better artist you learn by drawing in a sketchbook from photos i
will assign every two weeks. If you think they are good then you will redraw them in a journal. We will critique them by email and make wonderful discoveries on how you are getting very good at becoming an artist.
Inside my art studio I have had artists stick to my belief that a sketchbook and a journal with pencils is the best way to improve.
Happy Drawing and remember my favorite words "Just Paint"!
