Experienced teacher of 10 years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate photography student! All ages are welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. People want to learn photography for different reasons, maybe to photograph landscapes, maybe wanting to start doing wedding photos, or maybe just get better photos of your kids - lots of different reasons and they're all valid. I want to work you toward what you want to learn.
Without a doubt, the best way to learn photography is with structured hands on practice. My lessons are all structured basically the same way, I'll demonstrate techniques, we'll work through those techniques together, then I'll give you homework to to practice the techniques on your own. During our next lesson, the first thing we'll do is go over the homework, questions and comments and then start with the new techniques.
Let's get started!

I can help you understand Drawing and Painting inside and out. I can help you understand the key fundamental elements of art that will allow you to make the best works at the very best of your ability. Those fundamental elements of art include color theory, anatomy, perspective, and composition. I even wrote an article about color theory for a street art magazine (Look up "Color Theory" at Up Mag).
I can help you learn how to choose colors for the right situations and contexts. Color is a very complex endeavor, but if you learn it with me you will get to know and see color through experience of using the right colors, and the experience will feed into your perception of choosing the right colors, which will then enhance your experience of using colors, and so on.
Hello! I am very enthusiastic about learning and teaching art. I came to USA from South Korea when I was a kid and wanted to study math and science! But, finding out that I was terrible in those two subjects, I felt unhappy and lost. Art was my way to stand out from the crowd, and it rescued me fro

How do you transfer a 3D subject onto a 2D surface? How do you draw what you SEE and not what you THINK? Drawing is the ability to see and transfer accurately what you see onto your 2D area. There are many techniques and tricks from the drawing masters I have shown my students that are effective in improving their drawing skills. We will also delve into highlights and shading, and use various pencils and other mediums to enhance the drawing experience as well. Come and see that your drawing can improve tremendously with practice and the right techniques!
I have been teaching and painting since 1983. I am also a professional mural artist and found that my painting improved many years after art school. I was frustrated back then and painting seemed so complicated! Is that you? I figured out, with my own research, the freedom and fun in painting. Y
