Piano with Yanni C.

Discovering, studying and performing music has become an essential part of my life, and I want to share my enthusiasm in music with music lover! I teach students of all ages and levels, and I hope to create and provide an engaging and interactive environment with my students. Pianist Yanni C., 22, began her piano studies at age of seven. Yanni has made several appearances performing in the United States, Macau and China. She competed and won several prizes in the Macao Young Musicians Competition from 2007-2011 and the first prize in the Nilsson Solo Pianist Competition in Texas. Yanni attained a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied with Professor Anton Nel. While studying in UT Austin, Yanni participated and taught students in the Piano Project under Professor GIlmson. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's degree with Professor Marina Lomazov and working as a graduate assistant in the University of South Carolina.
