piano lesson in your home. I have been teaching piano more than 18 years. Your love of music will grow as I help you develop your piano skills.

About Minoo
I am the member of MTAC and prepare students for the California Certificate of Merit. My teaching philosophy is based in the belief that learning music should be fun and exciting! I always encourage my students to pursue the kind of music that they find most appealing, rather than using the same curriculum and method book. I teach private lessons and have had the experience of working with hundreds of students ranging from beginners with no experience to advanced players.
I go to my students In all over Orange county and Corona.

Minoo has done a wonderful job. My granddaughter is five so it was important to keep the classes fun—yet we obviously want her to be learning to play. My granddaughter looks forward to her lesson each week.

When it comes to piano, I feel that the hardest aspect to success is the student's ability to read. I emphasize proper technique and the ability to correctly know what it is the music is asking for in the performance.

About Frankie
In addition to being a Berklee College of Music Graduate, I have a Masters in Music Education, and currently completing my Doctorate in Music Education from Boston University, I have been playing for over 30 years.

Lessons are written and tailored to you. I use music, printouts, and instructional material to make sure you progress as you should.

I have spots available every day of the week, so I'm confident that we can find something that works for both of us.

I know that learning to play any style of music whether it be Jazz, Blues, Soul, Motown, Funk, or Rock is a challenge, but with help from an experienced educator, your instrument becomes a rewarding lifelong enjoyment.

Please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to speak with you regarding any questions you may have.

I have been teaching introductory/beginning piano for 3 years now. Beginning students have the option to focus on music theory, pop "keys" (chords to sing over), or basic piano skills. I have taught beginners aged 4-adult.

About Sara
Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a classically trained singer from Columbia, SC, and I have been teaching voice for about six years. My philosophy is that anyone can learn to sing; just like any other instrument, all it takes is determination and practice. I welcome all levels and ages of aspiring vocalists. I am also open to all genres, from opera to rock! The goal of my lessons is to help singers feel confident with their vocal technique and to feel joy in sharing their gifts.

In addition to singing, I also teach beginner piano, music theory, audition prep, and ear-training.

My daughter is learning a lot from Sara and so am I. We look forward to the classes as Sara is patient, encouraging, explains everything very well to my daughter and very knowledgeable about vocal training. We feel fortunate to have found her. My daughter who is shy is opening up to her, I can't wait to see where Sara could take her.

Piano lessons include ear training, music theory, performance preparation, and many fun ways to engage each student and challenge him or her towards a greater passion for music

About Marissa
My name is Marissa, and I come to the music studio with a passion for teaching students of all ages and needs. My education and training has taken me from Phoenix, AZ where I grew up to Greenville, SC where I received both an undergraduate degree in Music Education and a master's degree in Performance. While in Greenville from 2007-2014, I took many choral tours and led both adult choirs and childrens choirs. I often enjoyed performing for local children's CD recordings. I currently sing in a nationally acclaimed community choir, The Rivertree Singers, who perform regularly in and around the Greenville area. It was also my privilege to train a young member of the American Boy Choir and accompany for him in 2011. It was in Orlando, FL that I decided to build my own studio through Takelessons, and I enjoyed every minute of it! In August of
2016, my family moved back to South Carolina to be near family. After a brief hiatus of enjoying motherhood, I am excited to be back with Takelessons and to have the opportunity to work with talented students here in South Carolina!

Lessons with me are always conducted in the utmost professional way, and I come to the studio with a desire to teach not only music, but the love of music. I love music and want my students to love it too! I use illustrations and examples to make abstract ideas more concrete. Students are encouraged to explore their voice and piano skills in each of their lessons and during their practice time. I challenge my students to do their best and try to find the balance between keeping them inspired and pushing them to do their best!

Hey! I am a music teacher at North Little Rock School District. Beginning piano class will be based on goals set during the first lesson. We will talk about posture, technique, music fundamentals, ear training, and more. Cannot wait to help guide you as you grow as a musician!

About Micah
I have been teaching music for a few years now! I enjoy music so much! I received my degree from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. I am also a member of the worship band at my church.

One thing that I enjoy the most, as a teacher, is seeing growth and seeing students get that “aha” moment. The most amazing thing about teaching is being able to see the joy in students as they perform. They get to be themselves. Playing an instrument or singing is raw, vulnerable and takes a lot of hard work.

Being a musician is worth it. You get to be able to express yourself in ways impossible otherwise.

Please let me help you along your journey to become the musician you dream to be.

Would you like to learn how to play the piano with spontaneity and ease, and to improvise flexibly? Or perhaps you are interested in learning to play masterpieces from the great composers like Bach and Beethoven. Shoot me a message if you are interested in broadening your horizons at the piano. I place an emphasis on skills with high utility, such as sight reading, ear training, and a strong foundation of music theory. I have taught a wide variety of students of all levels and ages (with a focus on intermediate-advanced students), in accordance with their personal goals and aspirations.

About Peter
Hello! My name is Peter. I live in Columbia, South Carolina with my wife. I have played the piano for 13 years, and percussion for 10. I have played in multiple bands, and enjoy writing music in my free time. I have earned a Minor in music at Columbia International University. I can show you how all those scales you were forced to learn as a kid actually connect to real playing skills! We'll focus on rep YOU want to do to keep you inspired. You'll love being able to play AND you'll love the journey!

About Fred
I can help you find the joy in learning music! Gone are the days of the old, crusty, strict piano teacher with a ruler. I'm here to show you that the dream you have of playing piano, singing, drums, or producing is completely within your grasp. You just have to take a leap of faith.

I have spent my life living and breathing music. I began singing in middle school in choir and in college, have sung in Segerstrom Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Greek Theater all under the batons of well known maestros!

My father started teaching me piano as a kid, but I really dove into it in college, where I joined a band that is still together. We play reggae, and I can play almost any style, just ask!

I've always had a rhythm in my soul, but I started playing drums for my high school choir, after which I joined my school's
drum corps. My background in those hard corps basis (see what I did there?) has helped me develop a unique and tasteful style. I can show you the ropes and you'll be playing your favorite covers in no time!

Production is a very special skill to learn and I would recommend at least a little bit of it for ANY musician! Learning about song structure can help anyone appreciate music more and even make their own! A big part of modern producing is assembling previously created parts into your own creation. If you've ever been listening to the latest club beat and felt yourself hearing other ways the producer might have timed out the samples or rhythms... then you have the SPARK!

Music is the most important thing that makes us human and gives us our identity, confidence, and purpose. I hope you'll let me help you find that side of yourself!

I have taught piano to students of all levels and ages. I specialize in jazz, r&b, pop, country, singer/songwriter, improvisation, arranging and composition. I love working with everyone from beginners to college students to professionals who want a different approach.

About Mike
My name is Mike F. I am a saxophonist who also makes a living as a pianist and songwriter. I started playing the saxophone at age 10 and learned from the best. I have released 3 albums under my artist-name MikeMRF. My sophomore album, Mob Music, went to #1 on the iTunes Jazz Albums Chart, while my most recent EP went to #11. I have had my music played on U.S. and international radio, and charted on Billboard Most Added and Billboard Heatseekers. I have played with jazz greats and toured both the U.S. as well as Japan.

I love teaching piano, saxophone, clarinet and flute and working with students of all ages and levels. I am equally as happy teaching a beginner from scratch as I am teaching a college student looking to get help with a certain aspect of playing.

Mike made me feel so at ease with this gentle demeanor and patient approach to teaching. To hear him play is inspiring since he has the confidence of someone who has been performing in front of audiences for many years. He has already explained jazz piano in a way that de-mystified a lot of things I never thought I could do myself. Now I understand exactly what techniques I should be practicing to level up as a pianist. This guy can really play anything though, from rock to jazz to R&B to straight pop, which makes him a perfect instructor no matter what style you are interested in. Highly recommend his lessons.
