I began playing violin for over 30 years and have been teaching since the year 2000. I studied at the Newark Community School of the Arts for 12 years and in the Greater Newark Youth Orchestra where I played at the New Jersey PAC and Historic Symphony Hall. I've taken master classes from John Smith (teacher to Regina Carter), and taught by global performer Aiko Goto and several teachers from Juliard including Hiroshima Shimura, I have performed at festivals and weddings and taught across the country in orchestras, quartets and music camps. Most of my teaching has been with private students age range has been from 3-67 *** Lesson Details *** I specialize in beginner and intermediate instruction and music theory (how to hold, how to read music, how to play by ear). I teach using the Suzuki method as well as a creative process to write, read, and execute your own music. Solo pieces, holiday music, chamber quartet or orchestral arrangements etc. I have years of experience teaching adults because I believe it's never too late to learn and all people should have access to learn the arts. I can travel to your home anywhere within walking distance to the miami metro mover, my home is available but street parking is limited.
