Piano with Michael L.

I've been playing piano since 2001 and went to SUNY Oneonta for Music Industry/Music performance. I've spent the last four years of my life in Brooklyn based Teddy Midnight where I was the main composer and played piano/synths and got to play all over NYC. Venues including Brooklyn Bowl/BB Kings/ Gramercy Theatre and Irving Plaza just to name a few. Also in 2012/2013 I got Ableton certified and have been producing ever since. I have a ton of gear including Korg Kronos X. Micro Korg, Moog Little Phatty, Roland Fantom X as well as Ableton controllers of all sorts and an Electric piano with 88 weighted keys. I am not classically trained but I can read sheet music but I would say I come from more of a jazz background and music theory/chord building and improvisation is my expertise. I have taught privately before and have gotten people with no musical background playing songs only after a couple of practices. Music is my life and I believe this would be a perfect fit!
