Trombonist Dylan played his first notes in the state of Texas, and music has allowed him to perform in other cities, states, and even on an international tour of China. A student at the University of Arizona, Carpenter has performed with the University’s Arizona Symphony in multiple sold-out operas, shared the stage at Crowder and Centennial hall with artists such as Bill Watrous, Andy Narell, Michael Davis, and Ben Vereen, and leads his section as Principal in the Wind Ensemble. As a soloist, he made his debut when he was 18, at Sahuarita High School with the Concert Band. Through his studies, Carpenter has become a versatile musician and a master of many styles, leading to earning his job with the USAF Band of Mid-America. Dylan’s passion from music stems from the drive he has for enjoying life and all it has to offer. Dylan earned his Bachelor of Music Performance degree at The University of Arizona, where he studied under Moisés Paiewonsky. Videos of his playing can be found below.

I was in band with Dylan in high school. He was always the best player, and whenever our director was gone, she had him run rehearsal while the sub just sat and watched. Everyone in the band liked him and looked up to him.

Dylan taught my son at Great Expectations Academy about four years ago, when he was in middle school. I couldn't be more proud of my son's improvement, and David always was always very happy coming home from school when Dylan came in to teach lessons.
