Cello with Rebecca Z.

Musicians and teachers thrive on inspiring others. Yo Yo Ma caught my attention when I was 8 years old. As I watched him perform on TV, I was mesmerized by his passion and intensity and I knew that playing the cello was my destiny. My first cello teacher, along with several others that followed, were extremely instrumental in my life. They not only taught technique and expression, but also character and discernment. I have performed and taught for almost 20 years, and my hope is to inspire others at every age and level to enjoy music and allow it to permeate their lives.
