I perform every Sunday at 9:30 am and 11:00 am. I create arrangements of hymns, accompany the choir, and play contemporary worship songs with the praise band.

Paid Pianist

I accompany all sorts of musicians/performers in and around Gainesville, Florida.

Later this month, I will be accompanying Cantor Kim Komrad as she performs two concerts in Ocala (June 28, and 29).

Like most piano teachers, I teach my students how to read music. Unlike most teachers (that I've run into at least!), I pride myself on my ability to teach students how to understand the music that is on the page, so that they can manipulate it on-the-fly and come up with their own arrangements. Once you get a little bit of music theory and rhythm under your belt, it's not as hard as you might think! This will help you tremendously if you want to play in a band, or work as an accompanist in the future! I also think it makes music a lot more fun :)

Zach was amazing with my daughter. She is 13, and he was wonderful at communicating with her on her level, not as a child, and he took her input and worked with her to achieve her goals. He was sure to incorporate fun with the lessons and not apply pressure that would make her unhappy. We look forward to continuing lessons with him.
