Greetings students! My name is Youdlyn M., and I have a huge passion for Music. I am proud to serve as a Vocal Instructor for students of all ages. As a teacher, I can help any student with Music Theory, Songwriting and Singing. Music is a major part of my life, and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to share what I love most with others! Whether you’re a beginner when it comes to singing or you’re an advanced student looking to improve your skills, I am the perfect singing coach and music tutor for you! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music and Communications from Hobart & William Smith College. As a musician, I have been singing and writing songs for basically my entire life. I am a classically trained vocalist, and I am extremely comfortable working with all types of music, ranging from opera to pop to acapella. These days, I experience great joy in helping others learn the fundamentals of music and song and working with people to improve their musical abilities. Through the years, I have helped countless students work on their vocal range, pitch, harmonization, melody and general performance techniques. My favorite aspect of tutoring having the ability to watch as my students improve their skills and gain confidence over time. It brings me great joy whenever I am able to turn a new student into an incredible singer with the ability to impress others with song. I believe that music can make a positive difference in anyone’s life, and that is why I love sharing music with others. Additionally, I always work to make learning music theory exciting and fun for my students. I do this by incorporating stories and humor into my music and by utilizing the styles of music that my students find the most interesting.
