About Will M.
Will earned his MFA in world music from the California Institute of the Arts in 2013 where he studied intensively under maestro Aashish Khan (the eldest son of maestro Ali Akbar Khan). He has also had the privilege of studying with eminent sitarists Roshan Jamal Bhartiya, Tushar Bhatia and Shakir Khan. Aside from shining on stage as a Hindustani sitarist, Will’s original music blends many styles for a unique sound of his own on guitar and sitar. Currently, Will resides in the California Bay Area as an active teacher, performer and recording artist.
