Responsibilities include: -Private 1-on-1 instruction in vocals, guitar (steel-string acoustic, electric), piano/keyboard -Provide insight/preparation for advanced choir group auditions (i.e. Bergen County Choir, Region 1 Choir, All-State Choir) -Provide insight/preparation for college-level entrance auditions (classical/musical theatre) -Vocal instruction includes practice in sight-reading, rhythm, music theory, proper vocal technique, stage presence/etiquette, confidence building (overcoming “stage-fright”) -Vocal students are instructed in vocal philosophies and techniques related to vocal health, strength, flexibility, and resilience -All types of my instruction are rooted in classical philosophies and structure -Significant experience working with special needs students (broad spectrum autism) -Experience in providing speech and intonation correction to adolescent, young adult and adult students
