wonderful teacher, lern many good things about instrument and music !!

I'm a professional singer-songwriter/ composer/ music producer/ music educator, who has worked in NYC, Taiwan and Texas, for the last decade. I have worked with Vlad professionally for over 10 years! He has recorded bass in 3 of my albums, and also performed with me around NYC. His great musicianship and personally make It so easy to work together. I would highly recommend Vlad as a bass teacher for those who wish to advance their bass skill and step into the professnal world as a musician.

Great learning experience with great instructor!
Thorough, attentive and patient Vladislav makes sure student understands learning material. Good combination of playing techniques, music theory and practical advice.
Definitely recommend!

I have been very lucky to have had Vlad as my first bass instructor, in 5 lessons I have progressed from not being able to play the bass at all to now having completely learned one song and beginning to learn others. Something I appreciate very much about Vlad's instruction is his emphasis on learning theory of the instrument instead of just memorizing songs, giving me the skills I need to eventually play songs and teach myself independently. He also definitely makes the most of each lesson and has often gone over our allotted time to make sure I fully understand what we're learning. If you're ready to really learn and work hard, Vlad is the teacher for you!

Bass guitar teacher

Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Vladislav Borkovski I am a professional music instructor and performing musician. I have 20+years of teaching experience with children and adults of all ages, and have been recording and performing internationally for over thirty years. Specializing in bass guitar, I have experience with all levels of students, from novice to professional musicians, all ages. Have worked in both public and private after-school programs as well as in-home lessons. My formal music training began at the age of five in Vilnius Lithuania. Since then, I have excelled in my bass studies at the Vilnius Conservatory while pursuing an active performing career. I have developed a teaching method that is efficient and creative, and is backed by over thirty years of professional performing experience. In my classroom, I approach music lessons with uncompromising attention to the goals of my students, their abilities and style. While focused on rigorous study of instrumental technique and music theory, I believe that even the strongest students of music require constant motivation. I always look for an opportunity to encourage my students by stimulating their personal creativity and connecting the classroom learning to examples from my own professional performing experience. My cultural curiosity led me to live in many countries all over the world, and I am fluent in English, Russian, Polish and Lithuanian languages. I seamlessly connect with students of different cultural backgrounds, quickly find common points of interest, and encourage individual uniqueness. In my classroom, students make progress in a stress-free, creative, goal-oriented environment!
