Sing like never before under the guidance of an experienced vocalist and vocal coach
I have been a choir teacher for 3 years and I have a huge passion for singing! As a band kid that went to college playing a wind instrument (who also had very little interest in becoming a better singer), I was shocked to find just how much joy teaching others to sing brought me. Additionally, and I cannot stress this enough, I believe that EVERYONE can sing. Popular shows like "American Idol" or "America's Got Talent" would have you believe that singing is a talent that only a lucky few are born with. However, I am here to tell you that, just like any other instrument or worthwhile skill in life, singing takes practice! The more you dedicate yourself to practicing, the more you will grow. Simple as that! With that said, I am searching for eager students who wish to strengthen their vocal abilities! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of technical ability and excellent musicianship. Hopefully I'll be singing with you soon!
About Vivian L.

Hello and welcome to my TakeLessons profile! My name is Vivian and I have been teaching private lessons on various instruments since 2013. I have also been teaching professionally in public schools since 2015. I play and teach several instruments including Ukulele, French Horn, Trumpet, Clarinet, Trombone, Flute and I also love to sing! In 2015 I graduated with honors from East Carolina University, earning my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. My students can expect to see improvement week to week in their playing technique. Every musician learns at their own pace, and I will treat you as the individual that you are. I can help any beginner no matter what sort of musical experience they bring to the table! There is no greater joy for me than seeing a student smile and shine when they master a new note, song, or technique. It is those precious lightbulb moments that made me fall in love with teaching! --- Some "Fun Facts" about me: *I LOVE to play video games!!! (Xbox1, Mobile, and PC) *I'm a bookworm and I am always reading something new *I have 2 dogs, their names are Ollie and Lily *I listen to ALL kinds of music! Yes I really do mean ALL!!! I listen to Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Reggaeton, Rap, Classical, Country, Oldies, Bluegrass, Alternative, Funk, Techno....the list goes on forever!
