Yoga with Virginia R.

Virginia is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and has taught over 300 Vinyasa and Sculpt yoga classes in the Chicago area. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Virginia’s candid personality is grounded in her roots and energized by bachelor’s degrees in Art History and English from Dartmouth College. In addition to multiple certifications in Power and Sculpt Yoga through CorePower Yoga, she furthers her own practice daily though workshops, modern dance practice, and contemporary literature on mental and physical health. All movement is choreographed to your level of experience and individual needs; music is well-curated; and scheduling is both flexible and communicated directly. Virginia is interested in exploring moving meditation as an agent for awareness and empathy in individual, relational, and corporate spaces. She believes fiercely in the powers of creating space for reflection, keeping a sense of humor, and looking out for one another. In an hyper-connected and overstimulated everyday, the processes of catching our breath and clearing our heads are processes we go through again and again every day.
