I have over 4 years of teaching experience with strings and piano. I have played my primary instrument, viola, for over 10 years.
I love to encourage students that quantity doesn't always beat out quality. That being said, I love a laid back lesson environment where the student can feel comfortable enough to ask questions, and make mistakes so they can learn and do better next time. I have taught kids as young as 4 years old, and adults as old as 50 years old.

Virginia’s so patient, understanding and energetic! I never was embarrassed when I would make mistakes and our lessons were never stressful. Virginia has taught me so many techniques, strategies, and practicing methods that improved me as a musician and will continue to. Not only was she an amazing instructor but she was also a shoulder for when I was in distress. Thank you Virginia!❤️
