I think learning violin should be FUN (and educational of course!!) I specialize in beginning violin students, ages 5-12.  Suzuki pedagogy is at the core of my teaching, but also incorporate note-reading when the time is right for the child. I think students are motivated by learning through understanding the "why" and also making connections with things that they already know. My strategy includes games in teaching the fundamentals as well as making sure students are very clear in goals and expectations from week to week.

Hi! I am a caring, positive teacher that always gives a compliment before giving constructive feedback. My goal is for students to learn in a positive environment where they learn to LOVE the violin. I specialize in beginning students, ages 5-12, and make sure the lessons are interactive and FUN! 

I currently perform regularly with my string quartet, Dolce Strings, and teach private and group lessons to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
