Learn to sing with a dedicated and supportive instructor! I've taught students of all ages and abilities for over 8 years. As a classically trained soprano, I have taught opera, pop, country, musical theatre, jazz, and r&b. I teach the fundamentals of vocal technique - breath support, accuracy of pitch and rhythm, and proper alignment of the body. I love to uncover the unique voice of every student! During the lesson, you will learn to sing with freedom and ease and hit those high notes all while having the time of your life! :-)

A little bit more about me...

My training:
I have extensive professional training as an opera singer and have sung major operatic roles including The Countess in Mozart's Don Giovanni and the title role in Puccini's Suor Angelica. I have performed overseas in Italy and Austria and I continue to pursue my career in New York City.

My personality:
I consider myself to be extremely reliable, dedicated, passionate, and hardworking as a vocal instructor. For me, teaching music is my passion and the thing that I love most (along with performing)! I am kind, supportive and honest. As your teacher, I will always give you my honest feedback. I will also always give you 100%of my time... you won't see me texting or spacing out as I am teaching. I am there for YOU!

Lessons with me:
We will always warm up the voice thru scales. I will give you exercises that you can do at home during the week (recorded onto your phone and/or recording device). We will touch on areas of improvement and work thru them together. The last half of the lesson will be spent singing thru repertoire. As a voice student, you will learn how to read music and understand the fundamentals of music theory. You will be a "smart" singer!! :-)

Victoria has honestly changed my life. She is one of the most kind, easygoing, compassionate women that I have ever met and her passion for music and singing is absolutely incredible. She exposed me to so much music I never imagined I would sing or be able to sing whether it be sacred music, classical music, opera, musical theatre, or even jazz. She not only helped me to grow as a singer, but as an artist and as a person. The growth that I experienced while I was with her was honestly amazing. I started out as a shy and self conscious person who was afraid to stand in front of a classroom, never-mind an audience, and after a year and a half with Victoria, I became an exponentially more confident person who now performs frequently and is pursuing musical theatre as a career. She has given me more than I can even describe and I am so thankful for her. I would highly recommend that anyone wanting to start taking voice lessons or wanting to continue lessons with a new teacher, go to Victoria. I literally can't say enough good things about her.
