I've been playing guitar for over 50 years, In different types of bands and venues, I have taught part time through the years. Now that I'm semi retired from my other career, I would like to do more with teaching. I've always like to teach. I play both 6 and 7 string guitar. Although, I have a special space in my heart for the blues, I currently  play with a 18 peace band. They read all their charts, and their type of music is jazz and swing. For the beginner, holding the guitar and correct posture is very important, The intermediate player should be ready for more theory understanding, advanced players need to be working on finding his/her style. Hopefully I can help students from making some mistakes that I've made over the years.

An experienced teacher playing 6 and 7 string guitars in various genres, for many years, I can teach theory, songs, technique, reading, and exercises.
