It won't be long until you will see that songs that were previously too high or too low are now comfortably within your grasp. And, you will be able to sing for longer periods of time without getting tired or injuring your voice. *** Specialties ***
I specialize in finding the student's unique voice, and helping them to understand its natural operation in order to set it free to be used in any style they choose to sing. The Italian Bel Canto method describes the basic singing technique, and is the foundation from which a healthy and versatile voice can be developed. My upcoming book, "All God's Chillun' Got A Voice" How To Find It, and Release It As A Creative Toolâ, discusses both the technical and esoteric sides of the singing voice, its operation and purposes.
Music, and especially Singing, has been the love of Vanessa's life from
the very beginning, when she sang songs before she even talked! Ever
since then she has sung, created music with everything that she could
get her hands on, performed, studied, written, recorded, televised,
taught, and earnestly sought after the Secrets of Sound and how it
affects everything in and around us.
Trained for years by one of the Metropolitan Opera’s most beloved Voice

Performing and Teaching career ranging from Opera to Broadway. She is
an award winning Poet, and holds a BA degree in Music Performance from

recently published the first two books and cd's in a series of Voice
Training lessons designed to enable each person to fully develop and
release the power, freedom, and beauty of their own unique voice. All
this experience has been enhanced by years of research and current

its uses, not only for our enjoyment, but also for its powerful
influences in our personal and professional lives, and in the formation
of our culture.
I enjoyed my 1st lesson. It was a great experience!

Superior Teacher, Outstanding Vocal/Music Lessons
Vanessa is an exceptional vocal instructor with an amazing ability to connect with my daughter Cameron and elevate her skill level as a vocalist. Her commitment to supporting the needs and requests from the student is fantastic and I appreciate her dedication to the Arts and her ability to communicate the language of music with such vigor and clarity. Thank you so much Vanessa!
She is a superb instructor
Vanessa is very knowledgeable and takes the time to teach her student well. Very professional also.
Excellent teaching style!
Vanessa has incredible wisdom for the VOICE! She has so much to offer in the way of teaching both the knowledge and the physical aspects of speaking and singing. She is so encouraging and upbeat. A few sessions we laughed and laughed. The first time I felt the strong vibration of my own voice in my head (like a bell vibrating and ringing) I laughed so hard! It tickled and I had never felt anything like it before! It is cool! She is helping me heal and recover my voice and I am so very grateful!
I was in the middle of doing a voice acting job and just the other day my customer said she loved it because the final record was confident and had more pep than the previous records. I am so happy about that!
My voice acting school instructor told me I would benefit from singing lessons. I knew I needed to take them if anyone was going to take my business skills seriously. I was right and so happy to have found Vanessa for the job!!!
I will be going back to Vanessa for more classes early next year for the continuing of my progress! She is an excellent teacher and someone I love to have as my mentor and guide in the voice industry! Thank you all so much!!!
Thank you, Vanessa Pace!
THANK YOU, VANESSA!
A year ago when I was shopping for a voice teacher, Take Lessons provided a wide selection of viable options. As a senior adult, I was feeling a need to clarify my "Call" in life, and to return to some of the personal strengths that I hope to continue using in the last 1/3 of my life. In my profile I indicted I was looking to maintain the voice that has been a part of every aspect of my life from theatre to singing, to preaching, to creating radio spots. When I mentioned that goal to Vanessa in our first meeting she countered: âWe wonât just maintain it, weâll restore it!â What a confidence booster that was!
Although my life work mostly involves speaking, I also have a love of singingâsomething I have participated in one way or another for the last 50 years. I wanted to overcome the âold ladyâ vibrato syndrome if possible and to be able to sing without concern that those within earshot would shudder.
In addition, I was looking for certain attributes in a teacher:
⢠A person who is at my stage of life or beyond.
⢠A person who is knowledgeable in both singing and speech.
⢠A person with a personal teaching style that is positive and encouraging.
ENTER VANESSA PACE!
Vanessa is confident and knowledgeable. In addition, she has customized my learning program to suit my current objectives, which have changed from one week to the next depending upon my professional assignments from work and my personal creative pursuits.
In this year Vanessa brought me to a point of âbreaking throughâ inhibitions and moving beyond what I thought Iâd be able to do. Her constant use of cues to put me on track with the use of my voice has been invaluable! She compared letting sound pass through the vocal cords (without strain) in the same way breath becomes music through a clarinet. Using words like âPull up your spineâyouâre two inches taller!â; and reminders to draw on the strength of (underused) larger muscles to support the efforts of diaphragm have been helpful in numerous practical matters of everyday life.
Vanessa is inspiring in that she is a life-long learner and passionate about things to the degree that she invests in them with intelligent research, attention to science, and a spiritual passion that drives her to draw out the best in her students in similar fashion.
If you are looking for a voice teacher, Vanessa will work with you where you are--and help you move toward the goal of where you are hoping to be.
I am thanking God this Thanksgiving Season for Vanessa Pace.

Absolutely worth the time and the fees.
Vanessa is an excellent teacher. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in her field, and does a wonderful job passing that on. My son has improved incredibly in a short time. She is also a great confidence builder, she makes my son feel that he can learn to sing any song he chooses and sing it well. She is also very personable and easy to work with. We are both very glad we chose her for lessons.
Cameron is enjoying the lessons with Vanessa and has learned new skills and techniques in the two lessons she has taken. Vanessa is doing a great job providing useful instruction and has established a good teacher-student experience with Cameron.
Wonderful, comprehensive teaching!
Although I have only been with her a few weeks, Vanessa has really opened my eyes (and my throat :) to excellent singing. Not only is she a pro when it comes to teaching good technique, she's also very attuned to singing as a physical, mental, and spiritual undertaking. Oh, we also have fun and laugh during every lesson. I can't wait to learn more!
