Singing with Valerian R.

Valerian has sung performances at Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, Avery Fisher Hall and at many other venues across the USA and Europe. He was taught by Bill Schuman, Louis Quilico and Seth Riggs (Michael Jackson's voice teacher) and has taught at the John Robert Powers Talent Agency as well as Westchester Community College in Valhalla NY. He has taught both children and adults. He is the winner of many awards including the prestigious Richard Tucker Award at Lincoln Center and the Year 2000 Lincoln Center Martin Segal Award for Outstanding Young Singer. He also is the Founder and General Director of Nickel City Opera in Buffalo NY since 2009. Valerian is versed in all styles of singing and is at home teaching everything from pop to jazz to opera no matter the stage of vocal development the singer is at.
