    Hello everyone! My name is Uriel and my specialty is helping YOU understand and learn in a fun environment. I teach a variety of subjects but my specialty is teaching musical instruments. Who am I?! That's a great question, glad you asked. I currently teach and direct 4th-8th grade students in a school setting and I love every minute of it. I've been teaching for seven years and although I love teaching 4th-8th graders, I love helping people of all ages learn in a relax yet challenging setting. My goal is to meet you where you are at and encourage you ever step of the way. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.     Band For Today

    I have been with Band For Today as a band director to 4th-8th graders. My duties include teaching all woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments in various capacities (including technique, music reading, theory, ear training), directing and conducting the ensemble, and performing with the ensembles. I also keep in contact with parents to let the parent know how the student is progressing. Every school is different and I try to meet my students where they are at in unique ways.
