Want to learn Clarinet with a real Performer? I have 10+ years experience performing in bands, clubs and cruise ships on the sax, clarinet and keyboard. Working with Jr. High students weekly, I understand the common pitfalls that students face. I have the belief that by developing your ear and the basics you can learn the basics you can be more than a good clarinet player, but a great musician.

If you're looking for an experienced virtual music teacher and performer I'm ready! I currently work in two Jr. High schools as the woodwind instructor helping and teaching in sectionals and one on one. I am known for my ability to help students to win superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble nights, in 2019 all 5 students making it to state competitions. I know that a big part of music is playing songs you know and recognize.

All about me: I've been playing clarinet for nearly 20 years and teaching for 5 years.

My daughter has loved lessons with Tyler and even found us a replacement in-home instructor when we moved.

I have had  both my sons take lessons from Tyler over the last 2 years and it has been an awesome experience. My 9th grader was in the lower band going into high school and was able to get into the top band by 10th grade. My 6th grader has learned to love the clarinet and said Tyler helps motivate him with his positive comments.
