I have been playing trombone for 15 years. I have received my Master's Degree in Music Performance from Lynn Conservatory and Bachelor's in Music Education from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. I have experience teaching kids in a classroom setting as well as private lessons over the past 5 years. My students have found much success through getting into local honor bands, all-state ensembles, and gaining acceptance into choice schools through auditions. My main goal with my students is to give them a solid fundamental foundation in order to tackle any sort of musical situation. Also, I give my students tools in order to effectively practice based on what works best for them. I like to have fun in lessons, I teach with a lot of energy and try to instill my love of music to my students. I encourage students of all ages to come take lessons with me, it is never too late to learn an instrument!! I currently reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan where I am attending the University of Michigan with the hopes of competing a Specialist Degree in Trombone Performance. After Michigan, I plan to pursue my doctorate with the goal of one day becoming a university level professor.
