Songwriting with Triana P.

I am an award-winning song writer with professional and personal experience in the local music scene as well as the national and commercial areas. I've studied piano, guitar, music theory, and songwriting. I have even dabbled in a professional music career, writing and performing across New York City, the SF Bay Area, and Nashville, TN. While still quite young myself, I began writing at a very young age. I have studied both instrument and songwriting for many years and have won awards in both local and international songwriting competitions. I love working with teens and young adults but have also worked with much more experienced musicians. I have written with up and coming local artists as well as Nashville musical veterans. I can teach you skills and guide your songs to be stronger with: - structure and flow - melodies that fit the mood of the song - "catchiness" - rhymes - creative word choice - writing for radio/tv/film - writing for performance - harmonies and instrument arrangement Generally, lessons involve a song that has already been written (or started) however I can also give basic songwriting lessons to those that have never written music before. While my personal style ranges from folk, to pop, to Americana, I have taught clients from a variety of musical backgrounds and I find that the pre-produced song has much more flexible boundaries.
