With 10 years experience playing and performing, I have been constantly inspired to expand the scope of what I previously thought possible with the melodies and rhythms of strings. Using what I've learned from music theory, and observing my favorite guitar players, I've been able to simplify my understanding of harmonic and rhythmic concepts (ways of considering mental notation and orientation of beats). This is what I intend to do for you; use the basic concepts of theory and practice, and help you to understand them visually, audibly, even philosophically, and most importantly, practically so that you may more freely express yourself through sound.

Hello! My name is Jordan. I am 25 years old and live in Auburn, WA. I teach Beginner to Intermediate Drums and Beginner to Intermediate Guitar. I have 12 years playing, performing, and touring experience, with 3 years teaching experience. I have experience with multiple genres including, but not limited to, Rock, Metal, Punk, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, World, EDM, and Prog. I am familiar with reading tablature as well as traditional sheet music notation. I like to find the easiest ways to help students excel in music, both in theory and practice. I look forward to helping you achieve your desires to play better and express yourself with music more confidently and freely.

Jordan is an exceptionally talented musician and teacher. I enjoy our lesson and always leave feeling much more educated. His lessons are easy to follow and he's very patient, friendly, and helpful. Will be returning for more lessons soon!
