Bass Guitar with Tommy C.

Hey there, my name is Tommy and I'm 34 years young. I have been playing and writing music since I was 14 years old, and played in several bands spanning over 12 years. I have played bass in a couple bands, and also served as the guitarist/principal songwriter in others. A few songs that I wrote were in regular rotation on Sirius XM Liquid Metal, and I have played all over the east coast. I went to school for Music where I studied the bass guitar at a 3rd-year conservatory level, along with music theory and music recording, and received my BA in 2005. I am very easy to get along/work with, I like to have some laughs while teaching, and most importantly, I love seeing my students progressing at their craft. Although I played in metal and hard rock bands, I am well-versed in many genres. My lesson plans are based around the student's goals, and what they are looking to achieve as a bass player and musician. From basic techniques and exercises, to learning how to play your favorite songs, and even creative writing workshops-- the choice is yours! I'm looking forward to hearing from you! -Tommy
