About my Teaching:
I believe it is important for all students of music to find and develop their own individual sound. Having your own sound is just like having your own voice, and that's what makes listening to and making music so enjoyable. It also helps encourage students to practice, improve and have fun!
All students have strengths and weaknesses and learn in their own unique ways. My role as a teacher is to help develop efficient practice routines while nurturing strengths and empowering students with knowledge and confidence to succeed.
Two-week classical music festival; large ensemble and chamber concerts.
Six-week summer festival for conductors and orchestral musicians.
