Hi, I'm Tim. I am a professional guitar player/teacher and music theory teacher. I have been playing guitar since my childhood - professionally for over three decades. Ii have spent the better part of my life in a variety of bands and recording studios playing everything from classical music to blues, jazz to heavy metal, and everything in between. I also have built guitars and learned a vast amount about the electronics within them, as well as the workings of both the analog and digital equipment associated with guitar playing. I believe these experiences have helped me become a better teacher and along with an easy-going approach to teaching make me a very effective educator and tutor in every aspect of guitar playing. I have also been a regular private tutor to many music theory students, with several students going on to become music majors and even music teachers themselves at both the high school and college level.
