I'm a professional guitarist, songwriter, and music producer. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Music, specifically guitar. Every guitar player has their own unique interests and influences. I teach students to find their own voice through the instrument, all the while teaching proper technique and theory, so that not only can they play what they want to play, but understand it as well. I teach guitar and songwriting to all ages and experience levels. Students can expect to improve on weekly basis. I can teach students to read music, play traditional jazz and blues, as well as read guitar tablature and play more contemporary styles like rock, punk, metal, indie and much more. I listen to the student and develop lessons based on their goals and interests. I have performed live with one well known band or another, from coast to coast across the United States and Canada, and in the studio I have worked directly with some of the industry's top producers. I have extensive experience as a recording artist, and my work has been featured in several full length albums, EP's and singles as well as several independent films. I have also produced music for radio and television commercials and other projects. My passion is helping unlock the inner voice of the student, whether is comes through a song, or simply through guitar itself. To be a great musician you must first be a great listener.
