- Teaches students:
- and Ages 4+
- Teaching since:
- June 1993
At age nine I began piano and clarinet lessons and continued my music studies throughout high school and into college. I played in numerous solo and ensemble festivals, honor bands, piano recitals, adjudicated piano and soloist competitions, scholarship competitions and numerous concerts. I learned at a very young age that enthusiasm and creativity expressed by my teachers played an integral role in my motivation to succeed. My experience playing in band, orchestra, ensembles and as a soloist, gives me an enhanced ability to convey lessons in harmony either played between hands or in duets/ensembles.
Because I also have a strong background in ballet and ballroom dance, I utilize these talents to reinforce time signature and rhythm lessons. It's amazing to see how my students transfer the rhythm from their feet to their fingertips accurately. This method also helps them visualize and interpret the music in a more satisfying manner.
Music is the centrifugal force in my life which I joyfully extend to my family and students. I am the proud mother of four children who grew up in a musical home; three of them are proficient, award-winning pianists. My students are also award-winning competitors in the Lisa Fiorenza Junior Piano Competition, Las Vegas, NV.
I have enjoyed teaching piano students ranging in age from 3 to 80 years old. Let's Make A Joyful Noise Together!

Terri is a great teacher & loves her students. She teaches all technics as well as notes on a page. Luv you, Terri
Excellent teacher. My daughter really enjoy Mrs Terri. She never want to miss her class. She's very kind.
We Absolutely LOVE Terri! and more importantly, my daughter really enjoys her time with Terri. We had to take a brief break at the end of the school year, as my daughter was feeling overwhelmed with school responsibilities, but Terri was incredibly understanding. Our daughter is very critical of herself, and tends to only see the mistakes she makes, not the progress. Terri is always reminding her of the positive, and is very encouraging. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!+ Read More
Miss Terri combines the best of creativity and the best of discipline together, and it has its own magic formula that comes through with the student.
Terri was an extremely positive teacher, and really instilled in me the drive and determination to work hard. She sat with me patiently, and worked through all the obstacles along the way. I highly recommend her.
I was hesitant to take piano lessons because I was afraid of getting stuck with a teacher I absolutely hate. I am extremely happy with choosing Ms. Terri as my teacher. She is patient, kind, and her passion inspires me to continue. I recommend Ms. Terri to everyone!+ Read More

Who would have thought
I am a retired person who had never touched a musical instrument in my lifetime. In just 5 weeks, Ms Miller has me reading the music and learning to play. She is a very positive and uplifting person. She is instilling the confidence for me to continue the learning process. I truly picked a winner when I chose her to be my instructor.
Miss Terri is a wonderful piano teacher. She taught our daughter for about a year and a half. She is kind, patient and very talented. Her home is welcoming and we can sit right there while our daughter had her lesson. I would recommend her for any first timer or anyone with young children. The children get the opportunity to perform in front of an audience about twice a year, once in the spring and once in the winter. Thank you to Miss Terri for teaching our daughter piano! We have really enjoyed our time with you.
I believe Terri is the best! She's warm, caring, and works wonder with all students. She communicates and bonds well with her students and their parents/guardians. She never pressures her students; she lets them work at their own pace. She's very supportive and encouraging to all her students. She's awesome!
The Kindest Piano Teacher You Can Get
Ms. Miller is a one of a kind piano teacher. The stereotypical piano teacher would be portrayed as an enraged perfectionist who hits your knuckles with a ruler when ever you play a single wrong note. Ms. Miller couldn't be any more different. Her kindness is a key factor to her teaching style. A student doesn't want to be any less than perfect. She shows so much enthusiasm when you play even the easiest song correctly. As well as this, her teaching style is phenomenal. Each new subject is taught in such detail so that we can fully comprehend what we are playing. All I can say is that I hit the jackpot with my piano teacher and that I hope that more piano-lovers will be able to experience her greatness.
Best piano teacher!
Ms. Terri is the absolute best when it comes to piano lessons! She is patient, kind and everything I was looking for in a teacher. My 7 year old daughter and I highly recommend her!
Terri Miller piano teacher review
Ms. Terri is a fantastic piano instructor for my granddaughter and all of her other students. Her exceptional knowledge of music form, technique, method and style is complemented by her ability to impart her skills to the student in a way that is always affirming and uplifting. Ms. Terri brings so much joy and appreciation to her teaching that everyone around her - especially her students - will benefit.
Ms. Terri is a phenomenal piano instructor. As a student who originally learned to play by ear, she has integrated that into my lessons. She is very understanding when it comes to school and work. One of the best piano instructors I have ever had.
Piano lessons from the best.
Terri is an excellent instructor. My daughter enjoys learning from a professional who is kind and patient. Terri takes the time to know her students and gives constant complements and encouragement. She also gives advice to my daughter that has improved her piano playing tremendously. We searched for 2 months before finding Terri. Now we drive an hour and a half to lessons and that is perfectly fine with us. We know we are getting the best piano lessons in the area.
Terri is an amazingly positive person - she never has a bad thing to say, even when I massacre the music. She always highlights the good things and gives hints and tips on how to improve the things that need work. I am so glad to have found her as my teacher!
My daughter is 5 years old when I signed her up to take lessons. Terri is a wonderful teacher. She is VERY patient with kids and very caring. She always made sure my daughter understood the lesson. I will post a video of my daughter's first recital so you can see how much she learned in just 5 months. Thank you Terri for everything and we will see you on Friday.
If you want an amazing teacher for you or your kids, Terri Miller is the best piano teacher I have found in Las Vegas.
Hits amazing how it change my daughters life. she loves piano. Ms, Terri Miller. thank you so much.
We definitely recommending you to anyone.
Wonderful Piano Teacher!
Ms. Miller is a caring and friendly piano teacher. Unlike my piano teachers in the past who were very strict, my daughter is very lucky to be under the tutelage of Ms. Miller. She's well experienced in teaching children, though I'm not sure if she has adult students. In addition, she has a cute, little assistant with her who welcomes all her students when they come in for their lessons.
Ms Terri is awsometastic!
Ms Terri's teaching approach (i.e. student-centered) has been very effective with our 5-yr old son. He truly enjoys going to his piano lessons! We are very happy and fortunate to have found Ms Terri.
Terri is amazing!
Terri is the perfect piano instructor for me. I hadn't touched a piano in 20 years but in less that 6 months, you wouldn't know it. We started with the basics and gradually progressed at my own rate - taking more time on theories and styles that I had a harder time with and speeding through those I found easier. She is personable and patient. I can't wait for my Friday lessons!
Very Encouraging and Positive
Our daughter has learned so much from Ms. Terri. She provides a truly positive, fun, and rewarding atmosphere for learning. Although not a fan of practicing, Kristen LOVES going to her lessons; and as parents, we enjoy watching her grow and become more confident with her playing. We highly recommend Ms. Terri!
many unsuspected surprises!
Terri it is not only an excellent teacher but also an accomplished pianist. Her studio radiates pride and a great environment for learning. I was reluctant to do a review, as I wanted selfishly to restrain her popularity. In good faith it would be unfair for me to limit her talents to others.
I'm very impressed with the details of take lessons. Periodic e-mails and confirmations for lessons. Very professional, much more than I ever expected.
I am very pleased with Terri. She is professional and certainly well qualified as an instructor. My granddaughter is learning a lot and she likes Terri. I would highly reccomend Terri. ardis adams
