- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
I have recently graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor's of Arts in Music. My primary was clarinet. Alongside clarinet, though, I studied saxophone, guitar, piano, and voice. Genres that I have studied include: classical, jazz, funk, rock, dixie, rag, and klezmer.
A majority of my classes have been in Music Therapy, and I plan to continue that journey at Marywood University. That being said, my background in education is different than that of some of my peers with a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education. I make sure to allow students to grow alongside the instrument and discover their passions their way. We will work together, cultivate a plan based on strengths and needs, and work towards a co-created overall goal together.
I have had two students in the past: one in high school and another in my last semesters of undergrad. The student I had in high school is now entering her senior year as a clarinet primary, double majoring in Performance and Early Education. My other student is still primary age.
I look forward to meeting you! Musicianship is always within reach.
