Steven is a staple in contemporary music and an experienced Music Director. With extraordinary ability, his works spans a wide range of styles, from Gospel and Jazz to Rock and Theatre. Steven has forged a unique career among musicians, combining his foundation in Gospel and Jazz with a fresh perspective on producing music for other genres. A popular musician, Steven has traveled and worked extensively with various artists from Gospel duo Mary Mary, and Donnie McClurkin to nationally acclaimed R&B singers such as Angie Stone, Keyshia Cole and singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stevie Wonder. Born in Cerritos, California, in 1989, Steven began playing saxophone and drums at age nine. At 16 years old, he began to play the piano. By age 17, he was gaining ground as a local musician and began playing for various concerts, gospel artists and landed his first television appearance in the Lincoln Heights drama television series as the keyboardist for R&B singer Angie Stone. Steven is now the CEO of the Steven T Music Company where he acts as music director for live recordings, concerts, weddings, private parties, funerals and other special events. Steven T Music Company was founded in 2012 to provide exceptional music and entertainment that others emulate, but never duplicate.
