About Ryan
I have been playing the piano for 7 years, but have been involved in the musical institution for much longer than that. I am currently pursuing my bachelors in classical piano performance from California State University of Dominguez Hills, with not much longer to go. I have also been shaping minds young and old in piano technique and music theory for the last three years. And, I believe I am an ideal teacher for anyone just starting out, to those who are trying to continue from where they left off.

*** Lesson Details ***
My first and foremost goal is to inspire a student to want to learn and thrive in their instrument. If I can do this, my job along with theirs, becomes that much easier. I try and do this by heavily incorporating the music that they identify the most with, while strengthening their technique with a classical foundati
on. And, introduce a well rounded set of incentives for each of their accomplishments.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide sheet music and books, I expect the student to provide the instrument they would like to take lessons on.

*** Specialties ***
Classical, Contemporary, Popular Song

About Susan
I have been performing since the age of three. At the age of seven, I began classical vocal lessons. When I was 13, I moved my vocal training at the local University becoming the youngest classical vocal student.

After years of participating in musical theatre productions, I landed a job in a guitar shop that lead to a big shift in my musical interests. I left my small town, the theatre and my classical background behind and began fronting both Country and Rock bands, even singing along side Juice Newton, The Oak Ridge Boys, Glen Campbell, Sugarland, and Trick Pony on stage at the Porterfield Country Music Festival in 2005, which has in years past drawn nationally known country music artists such as Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, and Loretta Lynn.

At age 19, I had an acoustic act which landed me a guest spot on 'The Tyra Banks Show
.' I have been a featured performer at Chicago's House of Blues, as well as some of the most popular hotspots in Wrigleyville.

In most recent years, I have been behind the scenes as a vocal coach in Chicago, eventually moving to Southern CA.
I have four children, my youngest daughter has Down syndrome, and when I'm not singing, I'm an outspoken advocate for children with disabilities.

*** Lesson Details ***
Whether you are looking to learn to project, or how to make it through an entire show without blowing your voice--I'm your gal! Because I cater to all experience levels, I like to focus on individual goals of the student and build on those.

The biggest thing that I hope to give my students, is confidence. Whether or not music becomes a career for them, or just something to help get them through their day-- my goal is to show them that they can learn something new, they can accomplish things that they never thought they could do, they can sing for friends, join a band, play a challenging song, sing the high note they never thought they'd hit.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Simple PA set-up.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide everything. If there is a particular piece that you want to work on that I don't have, I ask that you provide that.

Suzie is extremely knowledgeable

Suzie is an amazing teacher! I am so impressed with her knowledge of music! In just the short time I've been taking voice lessons I can feel my voice getting stronger. She has taught me the correct way of breathing, projecting and standing. She's always giving me positive feedback, which is so helpful. I would recommend Suzie to anyone who is serious about taking voice lessons!

Grey hung in there even with all my connection problems. Then he taught me accordian information that I had been thinking about, but never knew the answer to before, because I have been out of the picture for so long. It was just the right timing from my 5 previous lessons. I am looking forward to my next lesson. I just need to get in enough practice time. My learning curve is in my hands now. Until the next lesson.
Thanks Grey

My name is Al Philipp, used to serve in ministry with Grey and what an awesome gift God has given him in music. Grey would play all kinds of music and my favorites were the old hymns and the contemporary Christian music, but when he broke out the polka music it would get your heart pumpin and your feet jumpin. Yes Grey is very good with the accordion with a great personality to go along with his teaching ability. I highly recommend Grey if you are wanting to learn this instrument.

About Shaunay
Shaunay is a seasoned violinist that is passionate about the field of music education and performance. She has always loved the violin, and classical music in general, and seeks to share her passion with everyone around her. Having received her education in Music and Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California, she became increasingly aware of the beneficial importance that music performance education had on so many lives. Her passion and love for this type of education, and the knowledge that it is lacking in the current education system, led her to continue with teaching to help improve the current climate of music education.

Shaunay began playing the violin at the age of seven. She studied Music and Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California where her love of music grew even further. She has bee

It was one of my most wonderful experiences to precense Shaunay play the violin and to teach me everything. From the beginning of how to hold such beautiful instrument as the violin and the wand. I'm not going to lie it made me a bit nervous at the beginning, but Shaunay made every moment very easy and enjoyable. I wish I was able to experience more of that beautiful magic she brings with such ease, but unfortunately looks like she is moving far away from me to share what she is so good at with more people. I definitely recommend Shaunay to beginners or someone with experience. Best of luck!!!
